LEADERSHIP
SHANG J. Master is Public Officer of Multicultural AUSTRALIAN and Leader of the MAP Party.
Master was born in Shanghai in 1966. He was majored in English Languange and Literature at Fudan University in 1985 and came to Australia in 1987 to pursue further study in film making.
Master was the first group of International Students from China under the Overseas Students Full-Fee Paying Program introduced by the Australian Government in 1986.
On 26 Jan 1988, the Bicentennial Australia Day, Master founded Chinese Students Association (CSA) to provide safety guarantee and welfare assurance to Chinese Students in Australia.
On 1 Nov 1990, Master made the pledge to become an AUSTRALIAN citizen by naturalisation.
On 10 Nov 1992, Master officially adopted SHANG J. Master as his AUSTRALIAN name.
After 20 years of entrepreneurship investing in community programs and business projects as a Venture Capitalist, Master decided to fund the creation of national platforms for Multicultural AUSTRALIAN.
On 1 May 2008, National Liaison Committee For International Students Limited (NLC) was established as the national peak body representing International Students in Australia.
On 8 August 2008, Chinese Community Australia (CCA) was launched through the merge of CSA and state based representative organizations to form the national peak body: Chinese Association Limited.
On 1 May 2010, Multicultural AUSTRALIAN (MA) was launched by NLC as the future leadership platform for the Multicultural Community.
On 21 March 2023, Master established Multicultural AUSTRALIAN Party (MAP).
For 35 years, Master has taken leadership roles in the operational management of Multicultural AUSTRALIAN platforms with focus on safety gurantee and welfare assurance.
